Christopher yesterday performed some piano at a reception in Cornwall in the presence of Gary Barlow, DJ Chris Evans, Brian Cox and James May. The four were in the county preparing for their 874 mile trip from Land’s End to John O’Groats in a bid to raise £1million for Breast Cancer Care. The team set off from Cornwall at 10am today, stopping at Bristol, Birmingham, Warrington and Glasgow before arriving at the most northern part of mainland Britain this evening.
Thunderbirds nut Evans owns the FAB1 registration plate like the one used on Lady Penelope's pink Rolls-Royce in the cult TV show. So he approached Rolls-Royce and asked if they could help with take on the role as a real life Parker. The British firm duly obliged and built a one-off pink Rolls-Royce Ghost complete with Evans and the FAB1 charity hiring the unique car out to people for a generous contribution.
