Land’s End, Cornwall, have commissioned Christopher to write the soundtrack for their 2014 & 2015 summer seasons of firework displays, which draw tens of thousands of visitors to the iconic British location each summer. Perhaps most famous for being the most south-westerly tip of mainland Britain, Land’s End will use the soundtrack in their displays twice a week from the end of July 2014 through to the end of August 2014.
Featuring not just a live orchestra, but also spoken elements and sound effects, the soundtrack will take the audience on a journey through the myths and legends most commonly associated with Land’s End, all complemented by the fireworks themselves.
A one-off live performance will be given with the orchestra, without the fireworks, in the Dora Stoutzker Hall in Cardiff on May 13th 2014. For more information on the displays, visit www.landsend-landmark.co.uk. For more information on the live performance in May, visit www.rwcmd.ac.uk
