Christopher’s brass quartet, Eminence, written for the inspirational Eminence Brass Quartet in 2011, has been published with Prima Vista Musikk as part of the Eminence Brass Quartet series.
Since its premiere performance by the quartet at Durham International Festival of Brass, Eminence Brass Quartet have recorded Christopher’s quartet, Eminence on their latest CD, ‘Jewels’, as well as performing the work at a number of venues across the country.
The work was commissioned and written for the group for the Durham International Festival of Brass where the quartet performed it in two recitals in July 2011. Named after the group, it showcases each of the instrumentalists both individually and collectively.
